 The
Chinese Disabled People Performing Art Troupe was
established in 1987.
It has been researching a special art
form with the support from famous
artists. Bearing the dream of people
with disabilities. This is the only
Chinese art troupe have performed the
world's top two arenas and the only
performing art troupe for special art
that has enthralled audiences from
around the world by entering the
cultural milieu. They fly their won
unique banner in a colorful world and
they are referred to as "Messenger of
Beauty and Humanity” and designated as
“Image Ambassadors for 600 Million
People with Disabilities in the World”
by the Disabled People's world
Assembly. They are also nominated as
"UNESCO Artist for Peace" in 2007. CDPPAT presented MY Dream
series shows and the program covers
vocal solo, chorus, traditional Chinese
instrument band and western instrument
band, folk dance, ballet, Latin
boardroom dance, modern dance, condensed
dance drama, Peking Opera and poem in
sign language. The troupe presented
beauty to the world by more than 150
performances in 10 countries each year.
They have traveled the vast territory of
China and more than 60 foreign
countries in Asia, Europe, America,
Africa and Oceania. My Dream
entertained, enlightened and united the
audiences of diverse languages,
backgrounds and abilities. No matter
national leaders or ordinary people,
they were touched by My Dream and
express their love for it in different
languages.
